| Harbor Shores passes to be $3,500-$4,500 |
By H-P STAFFBENTON HARBOR — A limited number of 2010 golf passes are now available at The Golf Club at Harbor Shores at introductory prices ranging from $3,500 to $4,500, depending on the type of pass, according to Joen Brambilla, Harbor Shores marketing and sales director. “The Jack Nicklaus Signature Course had a tremendous response from those who have played it during our preview season just completed,” said Brambilla. “We’re really looking forward to the opening of all 18 holes next summer.” The annual golf passes will be available for a limited time, according to Brambilla, and consist of the $3,500 fee for an individual, $4,000 for a couple or significant other and $4,500 for a family including children younger than 23 living in the same household. The passes include unlimited golf and use of the practice facilities, 21-day advanced tee time reservations, three free guest rounds, one complimentary lesson and one free Harbor Shores logo item. The pass also includes credit card charging privileges. Ten holes (1, 2 and 10 through 17) were opened for play this year, and the remaining eight holes should be open by July 1, depending on the weather according to Ross Smith, Harbor Shores general manager/director of golf. Once the complete 18-hole tract is open for play, greens fees Mondays through Thursdays will be $125 for nonresidents and $105 for area residents, which includes an electric cart and use of the practice range. Fridays through Sundays, ratess will be $150 and $125. Rates during May and June will remain the same for the 10 completed holes: $75 for the first 10 and $25 for a repeat, according to Smith. In addition, two community days for area residents will be held in May, September and October. In May, community day rates will be $40 and $25 for the repeat of the 10 completed holes. In September and October, the community day rates for 18 holes will be $75. |
